I remember reading about an archaeological dig in Scotland (I believe). They were exploring the old latrine facilities build by the Romans for an outpost. Most modern with toilets, running water .. all that. Not much left but the foundations. Suppose it doesn't take raving barbarians to destroy it .. just time.
